Pepper and salt mills
Use & Care Guide
Thank you for choosing an ERALT handcrafted pepper and salt mill. Each mill is carefully crafted from premium wood and designed to provide years of reliable performance.
Before First Use
Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
Fill the mill with high-quality dry peppercorns or coarse dry rock salt. Don't use wet sea salt which will spoil the mechanism and wood.
Do not wash the mill.
Filling the Mill
Unscrew and remove the top knob.
Lift off the top cap.
Fill the mill with peppercorns (pepper mill) or coarse dry salt (salt mill).
Replace the top and tighten the knob.
Adjusting the Grind
Turn the top knob clockwise for a finer grind.
Turn the knob counterclockwise for a coarser grind.
Adjust gradually until you achieve your preferred texture.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Wipe the wooden surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Dry immediately after cleaning.
Never immerse the mill in water or place it in a dishwasher.
Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Use a dry cloth to wipe down the exterior, and a small dry brush to get into the grooves and between the grinding mechanism. This helps clear out any salt or pepper that's stuck inside.
Best Practices
Use only whole dry black, white or mixed peppercorns in the pepper mill.
Use only coarse, dry salt crystals in the salt mill and preferably less than 4mm thickness.
Keep the mills away from excessive moisture and direct sunlight.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Do not grind wet salt, rock salt with impurities, or other hard spices unless the mill is specifically designed for them.
Warranty
ERALT grinding mechanisms are backed by:
5-Year Warranty on the grinding mechanism for household use.
1-Year Warranty on the grinding mechanism for commercial use.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal operating conditions. Damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, accidental impact, by using harsh chemicals or unauthorized modifications is not covered.
Thank you for choosing ERALT – The Perfect Twist. We hope our handcrafted mills bring exceptional flavor and elegance to your kitchen for years to come.

Cutting Boards

Thank you for choosing the Eralt Mango Wooden Cutting Board Set. Handcrafted from rich, sustainable mango wood featuring unique natural grain patterns, these boards add both warmth and exceptional durability to your kitchen.
To preserve the natural beauty, prevent cracking, and ensure a long lifespan for your boards, please follow these essential use and care instructions.
1. Daily Cleaning & Maintenance
Proper daily washing keeps your board hygienic without damaging the natural wood fibers.
Hand Wash Only: Always wash your mango wood cutting board by hand using warm water and mild, dish-washing soap.
Never Soak: Do not submerge the board in water or run it through the dishwasher. Prolonged exposure to water will cause the wood to warp, swell, and crack.
Dry Immediately: After washing, wipe the board completely dry with a clean cloth or towel. Stand the board upright on its side to allow air circulation on all surfaces until it is 100% dry.
2. Regular Seasoning & Conditioning
Mango wood is a natural material that requires regular oiling to maintain its moisture barrier and rich luster.
Frequency: Oil your cutting board at least once a month, or whenever the wood feels dry, pale, or starts looking chalky.
Recommended Products: Use food-grade mineral oil, beeswax, or a specialized butcher block conditioner. Avoid cooking oils like olive, vegetable, or canola oil, as they can become sticky and turn rancid over time.
How to Oil:
Ensure the board is thoroughly clean and completely dry.
Apply a generous amount of food-grade mineral oil onto a soft cloth or paper towel.
Rub the oil evenly into the wood following the direction of the grain.
Let the board absorb the oil for at least 2 to 3 hours (or overnight for best results).
Wipe away any excess oil with a clean, dry cloth until the surface feels smooth and not overly greasy.
3. Best Practices for Use
Juice Groove Care: Your Eralt boards feature built-in juice grooves to catch liquids from meats or juicy fruits. Rinse these grooves thoroughly after use to prevent residue buildup.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not place hot pots or pans directly onto the wooden surface. Keep the boards away from direct heat sources, radiators, or intense sunlight.
Sanitizing: If you use the board for raw meat or poultry, sanitize it afterwards by wiping it down with a diluted solution of white vinegar and water, or a mild water-bleach solution, then rinse, dry, and oil immediately.
Summary Checklist
Wash gently by hand with warm water and mild soap (never soak or dishwash).
Dry thoroughly with a towel and store upright.
Condition monthly with food-grade mineral oil to lock in moisture and preserve the natural grain.
